Prepared Graduates: -Create works of visual art and design that demonstrate increasing levels of mastery in skills and techniques. Grade Level Expectation: -Establish a practice of planning and experimentation to advance concepts and technical skills. Must be the size of a human head or larger. Must have negative space. Agenda: Intro to slab lantern Demonstration of slab lantern Planning/finishing coil pot Must get planning sheet approved before starting on new project!

Basic rules=
1. Take what you need, (3 layers) 2. Clean up table and brushes 3. DON'T GLAZE THE BOTTOM! Ceramic glaze is an impervious layer or coating of a vitreous substance which has been fused to a ceramic body through firing. Glaze can serve to color, decorate or waterproof an item.
All students will be able to demonstrate an understanding of how to make a form and ceramic vocabulary, through note taking and be able to demonstrate how to construct a combined pinch pot form.
